What inspired the music video?
Just like the rest of the Glass and a Half Full campaigns, our new production aims to make you smile. This time Ghanaian style.

The Location…
We have been sourcing cocoa beans from Ghana for 101 years and so it made sense to film our production out in Ghana. We worked in cocoa villages in the East Akim and Fanteakwa districts in the Eastern region of Ghana. The production fuses traditional as well as modern Ghanaian pop-culture with a good splash of our trademark quirky Glass and a Half imagination.
The Music…
Music is always on and always loud in Ghana so we wanted to celebrate our move to Fairtrade in a way that took inspiration from this awesome country. We wanted to give you a taste of the place and its people, rappers, dancers, cultural figures and of course, its cocoa beans. And the record-release enabled us to ensure that the proceeds raised from the single would be heading back to Ghana through investment in cocoa growing communities.
The words…
‘Zingolo’ means ‘Enjoy it’ in Ga. This is one of the languages of Ghana.
The People…
Without cocoa farmers, there are no cocoa beans… And if there are no beans, there are no bars! It is the cocoa farmers who inspired us to come on this journey and we have provided a small insight into the cocoa growing communities through this new campaign. From the vibrant street artists, through to our committed Cocoa Partners. From the street dancers who brought Tinny’s beat to life, to the local sculptors who created our head. And from the community members and farmers in Ghana, right through to our Ghanaian community partners in the UK, we have all worked together to bring the joy of Ghana to you.
The Dancers…
The High Spirit Dance Crew have been dancing together since 2007. Since then they have shared their brand of acrobatic street dancing with Ghana, and now, thanks to Cadbury Dairy Milk, the world. High Spirit have worked with top Ghanaian performers like Prince Ramzy Williams and of course, Tinny, winning countless competitions and awards and appearing on Ghana TV. Known for putting their bodies on the line every time they dance, their energy and enthusiasm was infectious and we’re sure you’ll agree the performance they give is out of this world.
