Cadbury Schweppes plc was awarded Business in the Community's Jubilee Award for Excellence in recognition of its long term investment in education and enterprise and its long term commitment to community partners such as Young Enterprise.
Cadbury UK achieved the Community Mark in 2009; the only national standard that recognises UK companies as best investors in their communities.
Cadbury Adams Mexico and Cadbury Schweppes Bebidas Mexico were both certified as Socially Responsible Companies by the Mexican Philanthropy Centre.
Cadbury Wedel was named Best Corporate Citizen in the British Polish Chamber of Commerce Company of the Year Awards for a range of activities involving colleagues that benefit the local community.
Cadbury Dirol was named one of Russia's biggest contributors to the field of corporate social responsibility for its contribution to the social development of the local community in the Veliky Novgorod region.
Cadbury Nigeria won the Social Enterprise Report & Award for its positive impact on society. Recent projects include the annual Cadbury/Association of Nigerial Authors Award and the Bournvita Teachers' Awards.
FTSE 100 Giving List
We reported our global community investment in the FTSE 100 Giving List. In 2006 we contributed to the value of £9.6million which was over 1% of our global pre-tax profits.
