We sell gum under the Trident brand in Spain, Portugal and Greece; Hollywood in France; Stimorol and V6 in Denmark, Belgium and Sweden; and Dirol in Russia.
Our main candy brand is Halls in addition to several local candy brands La Pie Qui Chante and Carmabar in France, Dulciora in Spain, Kent in Turkey and Bassett's in Northern Europe.
Our core chocolate markets are Poland, Romania, Russia, France and Turkey with Wedel, Kandia, Cadbury, Poulain, and Bonibon brands respectively. We also sell some chocolate drinks in Spain and Greece. With the recent acquisition of Kandia Excelent in Romania we are the leading confectionary player in that market.
France is our largest business unit and we have the leading position in the French confectionery market - the world's eighth largest - with a 24% market share. We have 47% of the French gum market, principally under the Hollywood brand. In 2007, we launched Halls in France and the brand now has a 5% share of the candy market. We also sell candy under the La Pie Qui Chante and Carambar brands, and chocolate mainly under the Poulain brand.
Russia and Turkey are also important countries for us in the region. We have 27% of the gum market in Russia through our Dirol brand and are also in the candy market with Halls, and the chocolate market with Cadbury. In Turkey, we have a leading share of both the candy market, with brands such as Jelibon, Olips and Missbon, and the gum markets, with a 63% share, primarily under the Trident, First and Falim brands.
