Stride was designed for people who love to chew gum – and love to chew it for a long time.  Over 3 years of research and hundreds of prototypes went into the development of this new gum innovation.  Most important to the work on the brand, were our consumers.  Every aspect of Stride was tested with consumers to ensure that we brought them the very best product that we could.

After years of development, Stride® The Ridiculously Long Lasting Gum® launched an interactive marketing program on June 21st 2006, the longest day of the year. Since its launch, Stride® has quickly grown to be the 3rd gum power brand within the Cadbury North American Portfolio.  Stride now comes in 6 long lasting flavors: Spearmint, Winterblue, Sweet Peppermint, Forever Fruit®, Sweet Berry & Sweet Cinnamon.
The success of the US launch helped to drive Canada to launch the brand in 2008, introducing Spearmint, Sweet Peppermint & Forever Fruit to the Canadian market.

 

Quick Facts

Stride has successfully driven incremental growth for the gum category with its launch, outpacing all other major gum launches in recent years.
