1991  Husband and wife team, Craig Sams and Josephine Fairley launched Green & Black’s from home in Notting Hill London

1994  Green & Black’s Maya Gold becomes the first product to be awarded the FAIRTRADE mark

2002  Green & Black’s packaging is upgraded to clearly communicate high quality chocolate alongside organic credentials.

2003  Green & Black’s embarks on its first national advertising campaign in magazines alongside the sponsorship of the Music on a Summer Evening picnic concert series

2005  Green  & Black’s is acquired by Cadbury

2007  Green & Black’s US operation goes live
