Role Description
As well as bringing new products to the factory and sourcing our products from different parts of our supply chain we also continuously re invest in our existing assets. This could be a single piece of equipment a production line or even an entire factory. We are always looking for ways to improve what we do by reducing costs and increasing quality, levels of safety, service levels and the morale of our staff in our production environment. We constantly challenge the way we work within Cadbury to be better than ever.
You could be involved in one of these projects and use operations management skills to reduce stock holding, change over times or waste in one of our factories. By building close relationships with the people working closely with the processes you will be able to utilise their understanding and your fresh ideas to tackle issues which can have an impact right across the supply chain. This could be changing the way we schedule a factory or how we store WIP to how we plan maintenance and cleaning.
By taking an analytical approach and working closely with our colleagues you could make a real difference to the way we work and how we deliver our products. By making the best of the great assets we already have we can make the worlds famous brands more effectively and maybe make room for some new products along the way.
