Manufacturing plays the critical role of ‘MAKE’ within the Cadbury supply chain. In manufacturing you will play a key part in creating some of the world’s favourite brands, to the highest levels of quality in a safe and efficient environment whilst driving innovation and reducing cost. In manufacturing we develop the processes and techniques to create our exciting range of products. As well as constantly improving what we already offer we spend a great deal of time with other colleagues in supply chain finding ways to bring new products to life, maybe a new flavour of gum such as Chocolate and Mint Trident or a filled chocolate bar like Twisted. Within manufacturing we not only need to decide how to make a product, but where, when and with whom and what.
Each of our roles are different depending on where you are based and the technologies or initiatives that you are involved with. Our different factories across the world all share the Cadbury values but at the same time have their own local requirements and character. As well as opportunities within Britain and Ireland you may get opportunities to work abroad. Manufacturing placements give you the option to work in a great range of environments, you could be in a factory making finished goods or in a feedstock factory, both are challenging production environments. We also encourage our graduates to experience roles in other Supply Chain or Commercial functions.
The scheme provides great opportunities to develop your business skills through a range of experiences from the day to day management of our production teams through to building longer term strategies and relationships with our suppliers and within Cadbury. Applicants to this scheme will form part of our Supply Chain programme.
