The Sales Executive Role
As a Sales Executive (SE) you are the voice and face of Cadbury UK. You’ll be out on the road and visiting store owners and aiming to increase confectionery sales in the following ways:
- Increasing our share of space over our key competitors
- Ensuring all our displays are in the best positions within the outlet
- Plugging distribution gaps by selling in new lines
- Ensuring our products are never out of stock and available at all times
- Making sure the retailer is selling the correct range of products that meet their customer needs
- Where contracts are in place, ensuring the retailer is at all times compliant to the agreements
- Identifying and capitalising on all merchandising opportunities in each shop every time
- Making sure our products are priced correctly
70% of all confectionery bought is purchased by consumers who had not planned on buying our products when they enter the shop. Therefore our one and only focus is to make sure that our products are in front of the customer 100% of the time in order to trigger impulsive purchases of our product over competitor products.
